Service Technician

Position Summary: We are seeking a team player with Commercial HVAC, refrigeration and commercial appliance experience. Successful candidates must work well with others, practice their skills daily and always seeks self-improvement. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, customer service, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial equipment, including but not limited to commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, and cooking equipment.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and system inspections to ensure optimal operating efficiency and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair system malfunctions using a variety of testing equipment and tools.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including explaining maintenance and repair options to clients.
  • Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep accurate records of services performed, inventory accuracy, and hours used for billing.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, HVAC/R education (certification or degree), and CFESA certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • EPA Section 608 Technician Certification required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, and lift heavy items.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, and clear criminal history.
