Indoor Air Quality Services
In-duct air purification, filtration and ventilation upkeep — handled through the HVAC systems we already service across Florida.
Cleaner Air Through the System You Already Run
The air in a commercial space is only as good as the equipment moving it. Dirty coils, tired filters, blocked ventilation and humidity that never quite settles all show up as stale rooms, musty smells and staff complaints long before anyone thinks to blame the HVAC.
SSI Services approaches indoor air quality the practical way — through the heating, cooling and ventilation systems we already service. We are not an air-testing laboratory or a remediation firm; we are the mechanical contractor that keeps the equipment behind your air doing its job.
In-Duct Air Purification
For spaces that need more than filtration alone, we install in-duct air purification products such as the REME HALO directly into your existing ductwork. Installed by the same technicians who service your HVAC, on equipment we already know.
Because it lives in the duct, there is nothing on the counter, nothing to plug in, and nothing for staff to manage — it works whenever the system runs, and we check it as part of scheduled service.
Filtration and Ventilation Upkeep
Most air quality problems are maintenance problems wearing a disguise. Loaded filters, dirty evaporator coils, clogged condensate pans and ventilation that has drifted out of balance will make a well-designed system move bad air.
Filter changes, coil cleaning and ventilation checks are built into our scheduled HVAC maintenance, so air quality is kept up on the same visits that keep the equipment running.
Humidity and Odor Problems
In Florida, humidity is the quiet air quality problem. A system that cools fine can still leave a space clammy, and a musty smell usually traces back to a coil, a drain pan or ventilation — mechanical causes with mechanical fixes.
Our technicians find and fix those causes as part of HVAC repair and scheduled service. And if a problem needs specialist air testing or remediation beyond the mechanical systems, we will tell you straight and point you to the right people — that is not a service we sell.
